This is Alex from the Injury Rehab Centre and i’m with Charlie from Melbourne Strength Culture today and what we’re going to show you is a Physio’s sided warm up for your Deadlifting today. We know we need muscle flexibility but also we need neurological flexibility in order to achieve that Deadlift position and so what we’re going to have Charlie demonstrate today is some neuro flexibility exercises. What we’re going to do is have Charlie prop up his foot on just a simple box we have around at the gym and then he’s going to go ahead and use his foot and his head to pump and floss through the nerve through his legs. He’s going to point down while he’s looking down and then he’s going to look up while his foot comes up. Perform about 15 to 20 of these. Another variation that you can do for your flexibility is with a slight chin tuck looking down there. All we’re going to have you do pull up on that foot a little bit and now we’re going to rotate the leg in and out we can also go ahead and perform 15 to 20 of these. Try these before you do your next Deadlift and see how it feels.
